David Porush

David Porush is in charge of electronic publishing for the Technology & Trades division of Delmar-Thomson Learning. From 1981-1998 he was a professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he originated and directed the Electronic Media Arts program and co-directed the Artificial Intelligence Research Lab. He has published widely on literature and electronic media, and is one of the co-founders of the Society for Literature & Science in the US. His work available on the web includes The Bomb was a Cyborg (1990) and Contra (1995). The latter reflects on the connection between copyrights, intellectual property, privacy and terror(ism).
